Abstract

This paper studies the role of anomaly detection in existing telecommunication network performance data for building more intelligent safeguards that support and complement the decisions by the current rule based system. We present an Artificial Intelligent technique, using Radial Basis Function Neural Network and K-Means clustering as a tool for anomaly detection.
