Subexponential Decay of Correlations for Compact Group Extensions of Nonuniformly Expanding Systems
Bruin, Henk, Holland, Mark and Ian, Melbourne (2005) Subexponential Decay of Correlations for Compact Group Extensions of Nonuniformly Expanding Systems Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, 25 (06). pp. 1719-1738.
We show that the renewal theory developed by Sarig and Gouezel in the context of nonuniformly expanding dynamical systems applies also to the study of compact group extensions of such systems. As a consquence, we obtain results on subexponential decay of correlations for equivariant Holder observations.
